The functional, flexible concept combined with the simple, sophisticated expression make the wardrobe easy to integrate: in the childrens room or master bedroom, for coats and jackets in the entre or for towels and linens in the hallway. The wardrobe is defined by its exquisite craftsmanship and the sum of its details.
The rounded corners facing both outwards and towards the wall, give the wardrobe a visual lightness. Whereas a traditional wardrobe has rounded edges on the outward face of the piece, the new Wood wardrobe has rounded edges on the back face as well, visually distinguishing it from the wall.
The sides of the wardrobe are designed with integrated, rounded hooks for hanging everything from the days outfit to ballet shoes or bathrobes. With a light push the hooks integrate with the side of the furniture, giving them both a decorative and practical function.
Hooks and footings come in solid oak or white lacquered birch, and like the handmade leather pulls add to the sublime quality of the handcrafted furniture.
While the spacious interior of the wardrobe can be configured to fit with flexible shelving, the continuous hanging rod and bottom drawers are fixed elements.
A special soft lock-function dampens the closing of drawers and doors, so small fingers wont get pinched. Both drawers and doors open with innovative pulls made from loops of full grain leather another subtle detail pointing to the quality of a wardrobe which is designed to last for generations.
